Tobyhanna State Park

Tobyhanna State Park, located in Monroe and Wayne Counties in the Pocono Mountains, spans 5,440 acres and features a 170-acre lake. The park offers 10 miles of trails for hiking, biking, snowmobiling, and connections to nearby Gouldsboro State Park. Visitors can enjoy boating, swimming, fishing for bass and trout, and ice fishing on the lake. In winter, the park welcomes ice skating, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Its diverse landscapes include forests, wetlands, and boulder fields, with frequent sightings of deer, black bears, and bald eagles. Adding to its interest, the park also has historical significance as a former military artillery training site. Promised Land State Park

Promised Land State Park covers approximately 3,000 acres on the Pocono Plateau in northeastern Pennsylvania and lies about 1,800 feet above sea level, surrounded by the vast Delaware State Forest.  The park features two scenic lakes—Promised Land Lake (422 acres) and Lower Lake (173 acres)—that offer opportunities for boating, swimming, paddle sports, and fishing for species such as bass, pickerel, muskellunge, trout, and more. Goldsboro State Park

Gouldsboro State Park spans roughly 2,800 acres across Monroe and Wayne Counties and features the scenic 250-acre Gouldsboro Lake, popular for fishing, boating, and swimming.
